Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate accounts, streamline processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold financial transparency and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:
– Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
– Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, etc.).
Compliance & Reporting:
– Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 financial standards and local/international tax regulations.
– Assist in internal/external audits and prepare documentation for stakeholders.
Budgeting & Analysis:
– Monitor budgets, track variances, and provide insights to optimize spending.
– Analyze financial data to support forecasting and strategic planning.
Administrative Tasks:
– Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
– Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
– Collaborate with project teams to allocate costs and track project profitability.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
Experience:
– 3+ years in accounting, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors.
– Knowledge of Turkish tax regulations and multi-currency transactions.
Technical Skills:
– Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
– Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Soft Skills:
– Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
– Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration.
